The date of her birth is March 29th, 1985 in Roswell in New Mexico. Gerina Michel Mendoza is her birth name. Gerina Stevenson's parents are Mexican Alan Stevenson & Rita Stevenson. She has Mexican origins, however she is American as a national. The desire to be a sportsperson was born as a toddler. Gerina began to play golf at the age of fifteen. Gerina graduated from Goddard High School. When she was in high school, she won the New Mexico state golf tournament. In addition, she was a volleyball player who competed on the level of state. At the age of 2003, she enrolled at the University of Texas. As a senior, she won each tournament she entered. In her time at college she won an award called the Conference USA Player of The Award and the UTEP Female Sports Athletics Award.
